I am a full-time, professional experienced Pet and House Sitter. While you’re away I stay at and care for your home and your pets. This significantly reduces the stress and anxiety of your fur babies. Driving your pets to a kennel, leaving them in an unfamiliar environment, and then watching you walk away for an unknown period of time can be traumatic and heart-breaking. Keeping them in the comfort and safety of their own home, while maintaining their routines, is dramatically less stressful.
I am a nature and animal loving on-line entrepreneur who loves to travel while giving and receiving lots of pet love. I work as a Video Producer so I’m at home most of the day. My other hobbies include, health & well-being, marketing & branding, research, reading, daily walks, yoga, nature, meditation and absolutely love small local coffee shops. I have been Pet & House Sitting for over 15 years and I “love” the lifestyle. After my own amazing pets passed on, I adopted a nomadic lifestyle preventing me from owning my own pets. I thoroughly enjoy my own company and having animals to love and hang out with as I work. Being a Freelance Video Producer, working from my computer, allows me the freedom to spend more time loving and caring for your pets and your home. (I do require a good internet connection, as my work is dependent upon it.) I do request a detailed description of your pets routines/habits, (feeding amounts/schedule, walks, emergency contacts, vet, wifi passwords, etc.) so I can maintain them, keeping them happy and stress-free. It is my practice to keep you (if you like) regularly updated (email or text) on how everything is going. And I prefer a non-smoking home.
I love big dogs and had my magnificent 'Gandalf the Great' (large breed chocolate labrador retriever) for 15yrs who I trained extremely well. Unfortunately big dogs that need to be taken for walks and who pull on the leash are too hard on my back. I strongly prefer dogs that are relatively well behaved on a leash if they are medium/big and need to be walked.
Growing up, Mom & Dad strongly instilled the importance of treating other people's property with tremendous respect, something I take great pride in. I keep my living spaces clean and tidy for the highest mental clarity and will have it clean for you when you return home including washing and changing the bedding I used.
My Pet/House sitting business continues to grow, with the majority of my business being repeat clients. I look forward to pet/house sitting for many more years. Please keep in mind that even if we do not work out this time, due to being already booked on your specific dates, I welcome the possibility of sitting for you in the future if it works out. I tend to book up 2-5+ months in advance so the sooner you let me know your travel dates the better. If your dates are a bit flexible I can share what I do have available on my schedule to hopefully make it work. If you have last minute travel plans, contact me to see if I have any openings.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Biography:
I grew up in a small town in Manitoba with 2 sisters, one brother, and always a feline friend. I was extremely fortunate to have been raised with a strong understanding of integrity, morals, values and an incredible sense of grounded self-worth. Some of my most cherished memories are of the many furry friends I grew up with. I've always had a strong connection with animals, a gift I would consider to be one of my greatest blessings.
I worked my way through University getting my Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems in Texas. I lived in the States for 16yrs, 7yrs of those years working at Travelocity.com in Dallas, as a Web Designer/Producer, before I moved back to Manitoba to pursue Entrepreneurship and re-connect with my parents. What a blessing that was, because not long after, my Mom developed dementia and I had the opportunity to help my Dad care-give for her for many years.
Thankfully Dad and I were able to keep her at home until near the end. She passed in the fall of 2019. Dad and I were both able to be with her on her last breath. Mom's legacy was 'unconditional love' and I feel fortunate for the opportunity to have been there for her after everything she had given me...so much love.
Dad recently passed away and I now 'home-base' in Winnipeg. I have many clients in the Winnipeg area as well as many many regular and new clients in the Gimli area which I love. I also earned my certification in Massage Therapy in Dallas, and another certification in Fitness Instruction in Manitoba while building a large local clientele for pet and house sitting.
I have extensive house & pet sitting experience, with many clients, and I'm happy to give many references upon request.
